International development
For two decades I've worked where development organisations meet the private sector. At CARE International I set up CARE UK's first private sector partnerships team, then led CARE's business and market development strategy across more than 12 countries in Asia-Pacific.
Today I advise INGOs, donors and UN agencies on private sector engagement, sustainability partnerships and programme design. I also sit on the board of Chrysalis in Sri Lanka.
Training & coaching
My sessions are practical and hands-on. Participants practise the conversation, the pitch or the decision in the room, not just hear about it.
Event hosting
I started my career in London running events for The Disabled Living Foundation and then Macmillan Cancer Support, and then spent years speaking at conferences and forums across Asia-Pacific for CARE. Facilitation is a similar craft to hosting: reading the audience, keeping time, and making every speaker look good. I now bring that to conferences, launches and celebrations in Ho Chi Minh City and beyond.

About
I've spent more than thirty years helping people and organisations work together, and I've called Ho Chi Minh City home since 2011.
After studying English at Durham University, I began in London, managing school expeditions for World Challenge and then fundraising and events for UK charities. That led to brokering partnerships between NGOs and companies at Business in the Community, and then thirteen years with CARE International. For the last seven years I've been running Coracle Consulting here in Vietnam, delivering practical soft-skills training for companies and schools and advising mission-driven organisations on partnerships with business.
Whether I'm facilitating a strategy workshop, coaching a manager or hosting a conference, my job is the same: help the people in the room get where they need to go.
